At the recent HMC Athletics North East Meeting, held at Gateshead International Stadium, Prep School pupils from Years 4-6 competed against more than 12 other schools in track and field events and returned home with plenty to celebrate!
In the team event, the 4 x 100m relay, Pocklington Prep entered five teams and all five qualified for the finals. The girls’ U10 team (Anna Stephenson, Cora Seth, Tabitha Speight and Lucinda Parkes) won their final.
Individually, the pupils displayed some outstanding performances recording some top three finishes and even more personal best performances.
