On the last Friday before half term, members of the John Dolman Society were welcomed into School for a tour, luncheon and reception with the Headmaster, staff and prefects, and attended the Commemoration of Benefactors church service alongside pupils. The tour, which was conducted by Sixth Formers, gave members the opportunity to see recent developments around School.  Attendees then enjoyed lunch in the Dining Hall before returning to the Gruggen Room for coffee and cakes with members of the school staff, and Sixth Formers.

Jenny Preston, Development Officer, said ‘It was lovely to meet members of the John Dolman Society and be able to thank them for their generosity in supporting School through their donations to the John Dolman Trust.  I know that our guests particularly enjoyed talking to students about the opportunities available to them at School.’

Membership of the John Dolman Society is open to anyone who donates to the school. Members are invited to Commemoration and other school events throughout the year as well as receiving the annual JDS update.
