Hugh to perform at Wandsworth and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals

Hugh Stubbins (00-11) has been cast by Part of the Main Productions to play Tom, one of the lead characters in The Squirrel Plays at the Wandsworth Arts and Edinburgh Festival Fringes this May and August, 2018.

Hugh, a former Pocklington School Head Boy, studied History at Jesus College, Cambridge before becoming an actor. Now based in London, Hugh’s credits include: Arden Creatures (Cockpit Theatre), Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens (Kings Head Theatre), The Things I Will Not Miss (short film), Chubby Funny (feature film) and the upcoming feature film Ilkley, directed by Harry Michell. He is represented by Esta Charkham Associates, and runs a New Writing Night in Hackney, which showcases exciting new work of all genres.

The Squirrel Plays are metaphor plays written by award-winning playwright Mia McCullough, whose work has been produced at prestigious theatres such as the Old Globe in San Diego, and Steppenwolf in Chicago.
