The Friends of Pocklington School committee were very pleased to welcome First Year pupils with their family to the inaugural ‘FOPS Big Breakfast’ in March.  Over 30 parents and pupils attended and enjoyed a superb cooked breakfast in the school dining hall, whilst chatting with Headmaster, Mr Seth, Head of Lower School, Miss Cheadle and Housemasters and Housemistresses.

The event was very well received by parents and pupils and the committee would like to thank Mr D’Arcy and his catering team for their help in organising the event.  FOPS plan to hold a 'Big Breakfast' each half term, inviting a different year group each time - it certainly is a breakfast not to be missed!

The committee would like to  thank everyone who attended or supported this event and is delighted to announce that the evening raised almost £1500, thanks to the generous support of our school community, friends and sponsors.  Details of the school projects this money will be donated to, will be announced over the coming months.
