The campaign for members of the Pocklington School Equestrian team to gain qualification for the for The National Championships in October, began in earnest at the weekend starting with Jumping with Style (JWS) at Northallerton.

The course which was made up of show jumps and cross-country fences was intricate and demanded much from horse and rider. The 80 cm team qualified in 1^st place as did Sophia Elliott in the 1m class individually. The 70 cm team, narrowly missed qualification, finishing 4^th as did Emily Jones, individual 6^th in the 80cm class and Martha Lee, individual 5^th in the 1m class. 

Well done to all team members - Emily O'Gram, Lucinda O'Gram, Gabriella Marsh, Charlotte Falkingham, Anna Falkingham, Emily Jones, Poppy Levitt, Sophia Elliott and Martha Lee.
