On Saturday 9th October, girls and staff from boarding houses Faircote and Orchard took part in the popular Cancer Research UK Shine Walk, completing an evening 10km walk through the streets of York from Millennium Bridge to York's Chocolate Story.

Dressed in purple and festooned with fairy lights, the girls did fantastically well raising a huge £1770.00 plus £345.50 in gift aid.
