The winning team, Warrendale Farms

Only three points separated the top three teams in this year’s Pocklingtonian Golf Day held at The Oaks Golf Club on Friday 8 June 2018. In the end, the Warrendale Farms team edged it by a single point to claim the Tom Nash President’s Cup for the second time in the event’s history.

SG Petch Fiat 500The golf day was supported by family-run car dealership SG Petch who sponsored the hole in one competition to win a Fiat 500 and other exciting prizes including golf mini-breaks and golf clubs. As well as the Fiat 500, SG Petch showcased the new ‘Stinger’ model from Kia, although it wasn’t on the list of prizes this time!

After the rounds, supper was served in the clubhouse and Trevor Loten (70-80), OP President, said a few words of thanks and presented the prizes. As well as the main competition, there were prizes for nearest the pin, nearest the pin in two and the longest drive.
